Inspired by the artist’s The Story of X: Chapter I, 48H ALLIE X was more than the story of an emerging pop music innovator; more than an intimate view into her persona, more, even, than a portal into her world. The public was entering a multi-platform, multi-layered universe that lived in both physical and virtual space, where dialogue and process were parts of the result.
Having launched her new album, CollXtion I, Allie X took up residency at Phi Centre for two weeks of creation. During her residency, Phi’s art directors, content creators and collaborators were inspired by Allie X’s new album, artworks, and persona. Throughout an exciting dialogue with the artist, both overt and subtle, we interpreted her story across a variety of platforms.
Always remaining true to the artist’s unique language, we used our tools, facilities and infrastructure to execute these concepts, and combined them with Allie X’s story to create an immersive 48h installation that existed on-site, and online, everywhere. 48H ALLIE X was not only what you experienced at the Phi Centre during these 48h, but that which lived on far beyond our walls as we broadcasted this content on 48halliex.com to her dedicated fans around the world. The experience also served as a springboard for her live tour, creative expression and dialogue with fans in support of CollXtion I.

Inspiré de The Story of X: Chapter I, 48H ALLIE X proposait plus que la simple histoire d’une jeune innovatrice de la musique pop; plus qu’une plongée intimiste dans son personnage, plus encore qu’une porte d’entrée vers son monde. Le public a pu pénétrer dans un univers multiplateforme, pluriforme qui existait autant dans l’espace réel que virtuel, où le dialogue et le processus faisaient partie intégrante du résultat.
Son nouvel album CollXtion I tout juste lancé, Allie X s’est installée en résidence au Centre Phi pour deux semaines de création. Pendant ce séjour, l’équipe créative et les collaborateurs de Phi se sont laissés inspirer par son album, ses oeuvres et son personnage. Au fil d’un dialogue passionnant avec l’artiste, à la fois explicite et subtil, nous avons interprété son histoire à travers une variété de plateformes.
En demeurant toujours fidèles au langage unique de l’artiste, nous avons mis nos outils, nos installations et nos équipements au service de ces inspirations, que nous avons combinées avec l’histoire d’Allie X afin de créer une installation immersive de 48h qui existait en direct, au Centre Phi et sur le Web. 48H ALLIE X ne se limitait pas à l’expérience faite pendant ces 48h, c’était aussi celle qui perdurait bien au-delà de nos murs alors que nous diffusions le contenu au 48halliex.com, à la portée des admirateurs du monde entier. L’expérience a aussi servi de tremplin à la tournée de CollXtion I et à tout ce qui l’entoure, des manifestations créatives aux conversations avec les fans.
